NEW TALENTS

This exhibition inaugurates a series of exhibitions promoting the work of designers discovered during their graduation presentations in their schools or during design events.

To create this first exhibition with pieces presented at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and during the Dutch Design Week was doubly important.

Choosing the Dutch school was an obvious choice; Dutch design, through its creativity and freedom, has become a major reference in the design sphere...thanks in particular to the quality of the teaching provided by its flagship school, the Design Academy in Eindhoven. ToolsGalerie has, for its part, since its creation and through its programming has given pride of place to this type of work.

The idea is therefore to present in these "New Talents" exhibitions furniture, objects and surprising and innovative lighting that reflect the personality of their creators, but which are anchored in the reality of the "design gallery" market. The exhibited pieces will thus have to be produced in one way or another, not only as prototypes but as limited editions, in order to meet the demands of the contemporary design market.

For this SEASON ONE, seven designers with different profiles and approaches have been selected.
L’idée est donc de présenter dans ces expositions « New Talents » du mobilier, des objets, des luminaires étonnants et novateurs reflets de la personnalité de leurs créateurs, mais qui soient ancrés dans la réalité du marché de « design galerie ». Les pièces exposées devront ainsi être produites d’une manière ou d’une autre, ne pas être uniquement des prototypes mais des éditions limitées, pour pouvoir répondre aux exigences du marché du design contemporain.
Pour cette SEASON ONE, sept designers aux profils et approches différentes ont été sélectionnés.
