He started by developing a body of work centred around dysfunctionality, discomfort and oddity. His work was pervaded by radical design, the writings of Giorgio Agamben or the poems of Fernando Pessoa.
His project “Les Assistants Domestiques (2009)” was presented for the first time at the Villa Noailles in 2010. This ensemble of dangerous items, all complex to use, questioned the true function of objects.
Then came “Les Outils”, a series of objects edited by ToolsGalerie in 2011, which played on the paradox triggered by a functional shift in the purpose of items drawn from a workshop environment.
